1. OSAP. They've downgraded my funding for next term again. At this point it's looking dicey for being in School come January.
2. Unknown. Blake's blog is gone. We don't know who did it, but God-damn when we find out there's gonna be some pretty serious... emails of complaint! Wait, scratch that. his blog's back. geez. how anti-climax... i can't even capitalize my words...
3. Myself. For various current reasons.
a) I failed to hold the attention of any members of the fairer sex long enough to get them to touch me inappropriately after the concert on Thursday. it probably would have kept me feeling strangely fine for some time.
b) I haven't done anything for 3 days. This is because I am a weak willed fool, as Andrew Bakes will tell you if given the slightest provocation. My current source of distraction? Star Wars Knights nof the Old Republic II, the Sith Lords (hereafter to be referred to as SWKotORII). I have played this game for 24 of the last 48 hours. I'm not joking.
Now, you might be asking yourself why I don't hate George Lukas for masterminding this little piece of work, but, to tell the truth, I just can't. This game is wonderous. I didn't play SWKotOR itself, so I can't tell you how the sequel compares, but I can say that it is amazing. Everything you do adjusts your path on the light/dark side. Conversations don't just have a "good" or a "bad" option, they have usually around 6 options, which reflect other traits much like those found along the law/chaos axis of D&D character profiles. I'm not even sure what bearing lawful/chaotic nature has on the game, but I am often stumped between 2 or more answers that seem to say the same thing (And who knows? Maybe they do. That would be even tricksier!), wondering what the game thinks they mean. Speaking of D&D, I don't know if Wizard is owned by Lukas, but they seem to have taken the 3 or 3.5 game mechanics and transplanted them directly into this game. First, it all works exactly the same. Next, the exact same terms are used. The game talks about d20s, the 6 abilities have been lifted straight from D&D, everyone gets feats (and the fighter-equivalent gets a new one every level, some of which are only accessable to her character class). The modifiers on attack work the same: Using two weapons means that you take negative modifiers on your attack until you get Two Weapon Fighting feats, etc etc. It's like D&D, but you don't need a DM and you don't have to calculate anything. It's incredible... Oh yeah, and I can play as a droid. Yeah, no more need be said.

Oh yeah. I was gonna try and touch Arden. It would have put her into the Two McKennas club, and elite cadre currently occupied only by Ellen, Jen, and Melissa Cossey. Arden would have been the first to get in without using Brendan. Anyway, there were only two problems. I'm not sure she was interested, and McLeod was trying to get "up ons" (or ins...I can't remember) as well. That wouldn't have mattered as she had a couple of friends along, except that we were both hitting on her at different times I geuss, and never really got around to forming a coherent strategy. In fact, our collective game was so bad that when we took the equipment back to Julians after the set at about 1:00, no one told them to stay and wait for us, so when we returned, Alex and I having come to an agreement, they weren't there anymore. My penis still won't return my emails.
Sad days all around.
Well, if consolation does you any good, my penis has already formed a "No Blakes allowed" club and the treehouse in which it's held is an impenetrable fortress..
